Samsung Launches Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 in India.

After a lot of anticipation, Samsung has finally pulled the wraps off their latest tablet in India. The two tablets, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 have been launched with slightly different names as compared to their international versions. The 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab will be called the Tab 750, while the 8.9-inch version will now be called Tab 730. The Tab 750 will be available by the end of August, while the Tab 730 will come only around mid-September.

The tablets will feature the new TouchWiz UX user interface along Android Honeycomb 3.1.
Here are the specifications:

6.> Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR for the Tab 10.1 and v3.0 for the 8.Tab 9
7.> GPS with A-GPS
8.> Adobe Flash support
9.> 1080p HD@30fps video playback, DivX and Xvid support
10.> Dual surround-sound speakers
11.> QuickOffice HD Editor
12.> MicroSD card support

The Tab 750 will cost you Rs. 36,200 for the 3G+Wi-Fi version with 16GB built-in memory, while the 730 will set you back by Rs. 33,990 for the same feature set. Samsung, together with Vodafone is offering a special 3G data plan with 2GB per month for six months for Rs.3,000.
