WhatsMyIP: A Suite Of Networking Tools For iOS Devices.


For computers, networking tools are easily available that help you determine the open ports, IP addresses, and numerous other facts about your network. The same is not the case for smartphones. Luckily for iOS device owners, an app called WhatsMyIP offers a suite of networking tools for free.

WhatsMyIP is a free iOS application sized at only 1MB and is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 3.0 or later. The app lets you perform numerous networking tasks by using the Internet. Amongst other things, these tasks include finding out the IP address of the network you are connected to, looking up the location of your IP, ping tests, DNS and Whois lookup, and determining whether a network is open or not.

Additionally, the site offers a text inverter, a password generator, a unit converter, and roman numerals.
