BOLT Mobile Browser comes to Android.

Remember the popular desktop-styled Bitstream BOLT browser for JAVA phones? Bitstream have now got the BOLT Mobile Browser 3.0 for Android phones and tablets, as well. The browser was previously only available through private beta, but the manufacturers have now made it available for free worldwide.

The main USP of this software is that it allows users to stream YouTube, CNN, MTV, ESPN and other websites, even if their device does not support Flash content. Along with that, there’s social network integration as well with BOLT 3.0 having a new social tab dedicated to Facebook. This tab allows for quick sharing of websites, blogs, YouTube videos and status updates, without having to login to Facebook each time. According to Bitstream, the application can compress up to 25 to 50 percent more than other apps and hence, it doesn’t put too much strain on your limited bandwidth.

Here’s a quick overview on few of the features of BOLT 3.0 for Android:

1.> Flash, HTML5 video playback with compression
2.> Social Tab - dedicated for sharing on Facebook
3.> Web Apps for popular services like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Wikipedia

BOLT 3.0 for Android is available for free for those having Android 2.1, or later on their devices and it can be downloaded via the Android Market.
