Fly Mobile launches 'Vision' Android tablet at just Rs. 7,299.

After Aakash, Fly Mobile’s latest Vision tablet, makes it as the second cheapest 7-inch tablet in the market. The new tab is priced at Rs. 7,299 and will rock Google’s Froyo Operating System. The tablet will also be sporting a 600MHz processing chip, which doesn’t make it the fastest on the block, but then again you can’t hope for much at these prices. The Vision will be competing with the Beetel Magiq and of course our very own, home grown Aakash tablet. This tablet fits perfectly between the other two and offers most of the features of the Magiq but with the compact nature of the Aakash.

Fly Mobile only mentions a 7-inch TFT touchscreen so we’ll assume it’s of the resistive type. The tablet also packs in a 4000mAh battery and according to Fly, it should deliver up to 6 hours of continuous operation. The Vision also supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a 3G SIM card slot. Furthermore, the tablet also supports telephony which means other than data usage, one can also use it to make calls through a Bluetooth headset or a handsfree kit. The following are some of the highlights of the new tab:

1.> Google Android 2.2 (Froyo) running on 600MHz Rockchip 2818 chipset processor
2.> 7-inch TFT touchscreen with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution
3.> 3G,EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi
4.> Bluetooth and USB 2.0
5.> 1.3MP front camera
6.> Expandable memory up to 16GB via microSD card
7.> 3.5 mm headphone jack
