Nokia 800 arrives with Airtel in India?
Nokia 800 one of Nokia's first Windows Phone scheduled to be unveiled at the upcoming Nokia World made an online appearance recently. Earlier this week we saw it promo leak and today we have another image that possibly indicates its arrival in India.
Folks over at Phonearena have received a picture which shows Nokia 800 and a Airtel logo. We are aware that Airtel and Nokia share a long partnership and the carrier may as well be the first to carry Nokia's Windows Phone device to India.
The smartphone bears close resemblance to Nokia N9. According to rumors the WP7 device will sport a 3.7" WVGA AMOLED display and be powered by a 1.4GHz processor. Embedded with a 16GB of onboard storage, the expected arrival of the smartphone is somewhere in the first week of November. It is believed that the Nokia 800 may also be branded as Lumia in certain countries.
The Nokia 800 users will get to experience the latest features of the Windows phone 7 operating system like People Hub which allows users to check updates from their social networking sites, Live Tiles which provides an up to date information on what's happening everywhere and a host of other new features. With so much to offer Mango is quickly becoming the flavor of the season.
India has already seen the launch of two WP7 Mango phones with Samsung's Omni W and HTC's Radar. If Nokia 800 is next in line, it already has the competition cut out for it.
