Specs and a new name for the ‘Sea Ray’ Nokia Windows Phone 7 phone have been leaked via Orange France, as reported by Mon Windows Phone. The Sea Ray will now be christened the Nokia Sun, according to the leak. As part of the specifications, the Sun will have a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen, Windows Phone Mango 7.5, 1.4GHz processor and 16GB of inbuilt memory. The phone will also come with a micro SIM card, instead of the normal sized SIM card. According to the leak, the phone will be launched in week 46 this year which is the second week of November.
Nokia Windows Phones have been looking promising, as far as leaked videos and spec sheets are concerned. After a long time, the company seems to have hit the right note with both software, as well as hardware. Nokia’s direct competitors, Apple haven’t really impressed enthusiasts with their offerings this season. The only other direct competition comes from search giants Google, who will launch their new range of Ice Cream Sandwich smartphones, and if Nokia has got it right with the upcoming WP7 phones, then competition in the smartphone genre will no longer be a two-horse race between Google and Apple.
