There's a lot of excitement in the air as the wait for the next big OS update from Google is just a couple of days away. Samsung and Google have both confirmed the date and time of the official unveiling of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, which is set to take place on the 19th of October 2011 in Hong Kong. However, leaks of what the next operating system software will look like keep popping up. This time around, according to a report by GSMArena, a stable ROM of Ice Cream Sandwich appears to be running on a white Samsung Galaxy S II.
The video shows the many new features of the Ice Cream Sandwich which include the new music player, Android Market Place and various other features. The website states that this, in all likelihood, is an original ROM of Ice Cream Sandwich as XDA developers are supposed to be receiving the ROM shortly anyway. Apart from the announcement of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, the event on the 19th of October will also showcase Samsung’s and Google’s next flagship handset, the Galaxy Nexus or Nexus Prime.
