This bit of news just adds to the list of all that's going to be new and 'worth the wait' on the Kindle Fire. While Android apps and games on the Kindle Fire is still away by a few days, a report in AndroidCentral confirms that the Amazon Appstore for Android, itself has been updated to the v2.0. So, the app store, states the report has got itself a major facelift, not only with respect to its UI, which it refers to as the update's prime area of focus, but also some new added features to its functionality.
For starters, the app store, instead of its previous white background will now sport a grey one, which at least in the pictures is impressive. As for the new functionality, the app store now provisions from in-app purchases setting, parental controls and a more comprehensive view of the gift card balance. A host of changes, like these only signify that Amazon doesn't wish to leave any stone unturned ahead of the launch of their first tablet - Kindle Fire.
