HTC Ville arriving in 2012, will run Android 4.0 and Sense 4.0.

We’ve just got an update from the HTC camp through BGR, who’ve managed to bag some inside information regarding a new handset called Ville. You can expect the Taiwanese company to make an official announcement next year at MWC (Mobile World Congress) along with the HTC Edge.

The Ville will be the first phone to come with Ice Cream Sandwich out-of-the-box and will also run the newest version of Sense 4.0. With the current Sense 3.5 already winning hearts of users worldwide, we can’t wait to see what changes are in store with the new one. We know a few specifications like, the droid will sport a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display so it’s the same size as the current Sensation and Sensation XE but you can expect much better colours and contrast. Powering the phones will be a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Series 4 processor and a 8MP shooter on the back. The camera will feature a back-illuminated sensor, 1080p recording, Beats audio, HSPA+ and a 1650mAh battery pack. All this is encased in a metal chassis (mostly unibody aluminium) and because of this; there’ll be no NFC support.
