Refurbished iPhone 4 to be available for Rs. 22,400.
With the release of the iPhone 4S just around the corner, there's another piece of good news for those in India who love all things Apple. The smartphone manufacturer has refurbished iPhone 4 handsets and will now make them available for a little over Rs. 22,000. With a year warranty thrown in for the devices, this might just be the deal people have been waiting for. Users can also opt to buy the company's AppleCare Protection Plan for the refurbished phones.
Apple has reworked on those iPhone 4 handsets that had minor flaws in them and were recalled to the factory. These flaws could range from manufacturing defects to cosmetic ones. Apple has fixed the flaws and is ready to make the refurbished phones available in the retail market. These phones are not second hand devices; they just couldnt be sold originally due to a flaw in their systems.
According to BGR.in, the refurbished devices are 16GB units. Once the iPhone 4S is launched, Apple will only sell original iPhone 4 models of 8GB variants. The refurbished iPhone 4 looks like the perfect smartphone for those who desire an iPhone but are unwilling to spend tones of money on it. Since Apple sells refurbished devices in other countries too, users can be rest assured about Apple's services.
Tough the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 will still continue to be available in the market after the release of the iPhone 4S, Apple is clearing the decks for its latest offering. And with rumours of the iPhone 5 already doing the rounds, India, like the rest of the world has a lot to look forward to in the coming year.
