Another Sony Ericsson Android smartphone is now available for purchase in the Indian Market. Being sold at online retailer Letsbuy, Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S is the successor to the original Arc and features a few upgrades. It has been priced at INR 26,995 and can be ordered now.
Sony Ericsson is releasing its products in India pretty fast; it was just a month back that company officially introduced Xperia Pro and neo V in the country. Although, we are still waiting for company’s press release for Arc S launch, but it is pretty normal these days for smartphones to go on sale even before companies officially announce them (sometimes they don’t even do that).
Xperia arc S was first launched at IFA earlier this year and comes with the ability to shoot 2D and 3D panoramic photos, has 25% faster camera start up time and 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor. Other features are same as original Arc, 4.2 inch display, 8.1MP rear camera, Gingerbread and 320MB Internal memory.
