SwiftKey X Alpha testing multi-touch feature.

The SwiftKey X keyboard was crafted to deliver a better onscreen keyboard experience to Android users. The applications shed off its beta status in May, this year. Now, Swiftkey has disclosed the alpha testing of its new features, which is inclusive of support for multi-touch input, says Droid Life. The improvements are aimed at users who want to type in swiftly and avoid any accidental presses even while using both thumbs.

SwiftKey points out that it’s an alpha release and may not necessarily offer a flawless experience. It also suggests its users to not set the SwiftKey X as their primary keyboard. In fact, it welcomes users’ feedback for further improvements from touch typing tablet users and two thumb phone users. The app has been spruced up for rapid typists without accidental input. However, the new version may not be available to all as the testing is available only for VIP accounts.
