Amazon Kindle Fire gets ICS port.

Enthusiastic Android developers are already busy porting one or the other custom firmware on the Amazon Kindle Fire tablet these days. After the CyanogenMod 7 ports from Jackpot Clavin, we now have ICS port from XDA member G1011999.

None of the ports are right now in the best of the state for the day-to-day working, but as the development is in full swing, we can expect some results pretty soon. G1011999 was able to boot ICS on the Kindle Fire and showed that touchscreen is working, while other components still need to be worked out.

He also posted a quick video to give us an idea of the progress till now. You can follow the development over at XDA thread.
