Search giant, Google is reportedly working on a new delivery service that allows users to order items from sites anywhere on the Internet, which can be received by them within 24 hours. As reported by New York Times, this service is currently in its germination stages and involves more of research and testing rather than observing output ranges and feedback. The idea was described by three people from Google who were briefed on this project and extremely little information has been made available so far. However, if this is indeed true, it encompasses the idea that Google doesn’t just want to help you find stuff, it wants to help you buy it as well.
Naturally, payment becomes an integral part of the whole buying idea and Google Wallet will eventually play a big role. Apart from that, Google Offers will showcase the latest deals along with apps that will have location based mobile ads. Also, this doesn’t really indicate that they’ll start building stores or supermarkets or warehouses, chances are that they’ll tie up with both retailers as well as couriers to provide an efficient and quick delivery service ecosystem.
