Micromax launches A75 dual-SIM, budget Android phone.

Think of the A75 as a slightly beefed up version of the A70, a budget Android that we really liked. Micromax has launched the A75 Superfone with a price tag of Rs.8,999. What you get for this money is a Gingerbread smartphone, a 650MHz processor, dual-SIM functionality, front-facing camera, all packaged in a 3.7-inch screen. This is the second phone that falls under their ‘Superfone’ branding, the first being the A85, a dual-core droid under 20K.

The A75 comes preloaded with apps like Google Voice Search, which enables you to perform various actions by speaking to the phone, live sending text messages, taking down notes, play music, access websites, and find directions to places, etc. The phone also has a series of apps like SAAVN for users to listen to their favorite music using this online music store, Times of India online newspaper, NETQIN ANTIVIRUS, to protect devices from certain virus threats using this antivirus, etc.

Here are some of the highlights of the A75:

1.> 3.7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen
2.> 3G, EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi 'n' with hot spot creativity
3.> GPS with A-GPS support
4.> Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP and USB 2.0
5.> 3 megapixel camera with LED flash, video capture up to 720 x 400 resolution
6.> VGA resolution secondary camera
7.> 3.5mm earphone socket
8.> Expandable memory up to 32GB
