Mercury mTab2 tablet launched in India.

The affordable tablet space has yet another Android entrant, the successor of the Mercury mTab dubbed mTab2. While mTab was a sub-10k device, the mTab2 is priced at Rs.11,999. Fueled by Dual Core 1GHz processor, the 7-incher runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.


"Features like USB, Battery backup and internal storage are vital features for the regular users and mTab2 brings all packed in a lighter version of 365gm this time." said Sushmita Das, Country Manager - India , Kobian Pte Ltd.
