Motorola Fire XT gets Android 2.3.5 in India.

It appears as though Motorola is rolling out a new update for the Fire XT, which bumps it up to version 2.3.5. The update has been reported by a few users in the country, so if you have this phone, you might want to check for it through the Motorola Software Update Tool, which can be downloaded from here.

There is no official change log for the new firmware but this is what users have been reporting.

1.> Improved battery life
2.> Minor bugs are fixed from the previous 2.3.4 firmware
3.> Improved Gmail application
4.> Software enhancements for the camera
5.> Shadow animation for list scrolling
