If you’re looking for a pretty RSS reader or a news reading app in the ilk of Flipboard, then you’d be hard pressed to find anything better than Pulse. This app for iOS and Android is a newsreader on steroids that can transform any website or blog into a colorful, tiled tapestry.
With Pulse, you will immediately notice how the tiled layout allows the app to show a higher information density. Once all of your web sources are added you can just swipe up to see your news sources roll, and then swipe left or right to look for news stories within the source. This allows you to see up to 18 stories at once on your iPad compared to 3-4 stories using a similar app.
Pulse also lets you categorize your sources into tabs that you can access on the top of the tiled layout. You can “star” stories to read later, send it to Instagram, and share articles through email, Twitter, and Facebook.
Pulse is a worthy default newsreader for your iOS or Android device. While it does not have the magazine-like experience of other apps, Pulse allows you to zoom in on news from your sources in an instant.
Features:
1.> Newsreader app for the iOS and Android using tiled layout.
2.> Save for reading later or send to Instagram.
3.> Share news items through Facebook or Twitter.
4.> Add your own website or RSS reader account.
