Looking at the new features and updates it brings with itself, this is indeed the value pack Samsung was readying and from the looks of it, had already finished it. The new firmware tries to bring the experience a little bit closer to ICS, but sadly, not by much. For starters you get a new lock screen like the one used on the Note. There’s a new Photo Editor as well that has been taken straight from the SII. Camera features are also tweaked and now you can take a still picture, while shooting a video, plus some minor changes to the UI. The speed to switching between landscape and portrait mode seems to be quicker. The biggest addition, however is Face Unlock, which seems to have been borrowed from ICS.
According to early reports floating on the net, this seems like a stable ROM and everything seems to be working fine with no major bugs, so we guess it is safe to proceed.
