Sony Ericsson Nozomi gets snapped again ahead of CES.

For the longest time we have been hearing about the upcoming Sony Ericsson Nozomi being captured in the wild and some press shots. Along this time, there have been specification leaks as well and more recently Sony Ericsson had put up a teaser image on their Facebook page indicating that they were gearing up for something interesting for the coming week. The Consumer Electronics Show is scheduled to take place in a few days time, so the wait to know what Sony Ericsson will have on offer shouldn't be for long. But it seems that the brand is having a hard time keeping the smartphone under wraps, as ITProPortal have come in contact with a Sony Ericsson handset they claim to be the Nozomi aka Arc HD.

The website states that the Nozomi is to be launched at CES and apart from images, a trusted source has provided them with benchmarks as well of the handset. The report states that this smartphone will feature an HD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 chipset. The OS it will run on is Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread. They detail that the Qualcomm chipset will support a dual core 1.5GHz processor and the handset will come with 8GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. This handset will not feature a MicroSD card slot, thus limiting its storage expansion capabilities. Like many phones being launched nowadays, it will come with MicroSIM card slot, instead of a regular SIM slot. As for the camera, it will have a 12MP shooter on the rear.

Sony Ericsson has put up another teaser image on their Facebook page with the caption that says, “Just a few more days until we can reveal some interesting news – what do you want it to be?” The image shows close-up shots of different areas of the handset. As for now we can only guess that this is the Nozomi or maybe Sony Ericsson has a surprise in store for us.
