Verizon Motorola Droid 4 official; LTE, QWERTY on-board.
Verizon has finally made Motorola Droid 4 official today, but without a specific release date. According to press release, DROID 4 by Motorola will be available in the coming weeks.
Motorola Droid 4 features Android 2.3.5, 4.0-inch qHD display, 16 GB on-board memory, 1.2GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM, LTE connectivity, 8MP rear camera, and front camera.
It also comes with also a five-row QWERTY keyboard with edge-lit keys and government-grade encryption (FIPS 140-2) for email, calendar and contacts. Droid 4 will be preloaded with Citrix® Receiver for Android (available in webtop) for desktop virtualization and access.
Motorola has also announced a 10.1-inch Lapdock 100 and 14-inch Lapdock 500 Pro with built-in webcam and Ethernet connection, HD Dock, HD Station and vehicle navigation mount with Droid 4 support.
