Image2Icon: Easily Create Favicons & Small Icons With Images On A Webpage [Firefox].

If you are a web developer, you might have come across online images that you instantly wanted to ‘iconize’ and use in your designs. But this normally requires the process of downloading the image from the webpage and running it through an icon-creation application. But thanks to a Mozilla Firefox tool called Image2Icon, the entire process is made much simpler.

Image2Icon helps you create favicons and small icons, and it installs without requiring any restart of your browser. With the add-on installed you can browse to webpages and right-click on any images you see to view the “Convert Image to Favicon” option. Next, simply select the size you want your icon to be. A number of most commonly used sizes are supported along with the option to set a custom size. With the generated image you are also provided with the Data URI provided.

Features:

1.> A user-friendly tool.
2.> Compatible with Mozilla Firefox.
3.> Lets you create icons and favicons from image already on webpage.
4.> Lets you select size of resulting icon.
