Google Currents: A Different Way To Browse Web Content On Tablets.

If you are someone who keeps a track of what’s trending in the online tech space then you probably know everything about Google Currents by now. It’s an app for Android and iOS phones and tablet devices that imitates the Flipboard-like method to deliver web content like blogs, videos etc in a visually appealing way. It already has around 150 top blogs and sites like CNET, Forbes, etc so you can get started browsing right away. It’s a different experience – a magazine-style method so if you have been used to the RSS way of reading, this might surprise you.

Google Currents also offers publishers around the world to create Google Currents channels of their sites so that readers can subscribe to them in their respective Google Currents app. The apps are currently available only for US consumers though there are ways to bypass that restriction.

Features:

1.> Visually appealing way to browse web content.
2.> App for Android and iOS devices.
