LG Optimus 4X HD coming to India in May.

LG India has apparently told TMI that it will be launching 12 smartphones in the country this year, first of them being LG Optimus 4X HD. Company also plans to release L-series smartphones.

LG Optimus 4X HD is company’s first quad core smartphone, and would be competing with HTC One X at launch in India. It features Tegra 3 processor, Android 4.0, 4.7 inch 720p HD display, 8MP rear camera, 1GB RAM, and 2150 mAh battery.

There is no word on the pricing, but expect a pricing around INR 35,000. We are most excited about the L-series smartphone, which include the budget Android phone L3 and mid-range device like L5.

  1. I want this phone more than I have wanted any other phone! I watch a lot of videos on my phone, specifically TV shows, and think this phone would be perfect for it. I watch TV through the DISH Remote Access app and use the YouTube app to watch random videos. Its 4.7 inch, True HD, IPS screen with a quad-core processor make it perfect for watching videos and shows. I’ll finally be able to get the same remarkable HD picture I get at home through my employer, DISH. I wish I knew when it would be released here in the US!!
