The title of this post might not make much sense to you. I mean, what would be the use of watching YouTube videos on Google Maps? This online tool called Mapstube does that, letting you watch YouTube videos on Google Maps, and the interesting thing here is that it shows only the geo-tagged videos. That means you can check out videos of current happenings around the world in real-time provided the folks who uploaded the videos geo-tag it.
It’s a nice tool to check out location-based video content on YouTube.
The tool has a simple and easy to use interface. You only need to search for your query and it’ll show the list of YouTube videos on the left and a map on the right with markers that pop up the corresponding geo-tagged videos.
