This camera application is by far the most popular app on the app store and today it’s available for purchase for just Rs.12. Paper Camera allows you to see the world through a novel, original, stylish and captivating lens and it displays real-time cartoon and painting effects on your camera feed. It basically transforms what you see on your camera into a cartoon. Paper Camera has a wide collection of cartoon/ sketch/ comic book/ half tone/ noir/ neon and many other effects painted directly in your camera; so there is no sort of post processing, it's all in real time. What more you can take pictures using any of the stylish cartoon effects or apply them to your existing photos as well.

The new version now supports video on more devices, along with hardware zoom buttons. There is Android Beam support as well, that makes use of NFC permission requirements. Most Android 2.3 phones are supported and all Android 4.0 devices are supported at the moment. This app has been a keeper for most of us, but if you had apprehensions earlier about paying a hefty amount to download it, the 12 buck price tag will definitely not intimidate you. The developers are currently working to make video recording smoother and available on more devices, along with support for front facing camera and higher res pictures. The developers have clearly mentioned that you can contact them, in case of any issues and they will give the concerned user a refund, along with a notification when the error is rectified.
