Nokia has announced its new ultra affordable super cheap 103 mobile phone that is planned to hit global markets in Q2 2012. It’s got the tag of the cheapest Nokia phone ever and though it may not have the same ‘features and specs’, like their other offerings, this one is reminiscent of their old Nokias that were rugged and built to last.

Here’s what the spec sheet of the Nokia 103 looks like:

The Nokia 103 is designed with a dust proof key mat. The 103 manages contacts by creating different phone books with a total support up to 500 entries. It also allows recording your call durations and accessing the call history in the call log list. Besides that, you can also manage your schedules and be on time with the calendar and the speaking clock/alarm clock.

The phone also comes with other features like:
Integrated flashlight
Storage of up to 250 SMS entries
3.5 mm AV connector
Time tracker and pre-paid tracker (network based function)
Pre-loaded games

It doesn’t win any accolades in the features section but for those of you’ll who just want a phone for simply calling and texting, this definitely looks like an interesting phone. The 103 does get a tag of being the cheapest phone ever and has got priced at €16 (approx. Rs.1,000). It’s going to launch in Nigeria, soon, and will also become available globally in the coming weeks or so.
