Samsung Galaxy S ‘Value Pack’ update out.
As we reported three weeks ago, Samsung has started rolling out the anticipated value pack update for Galaxy S users in South Korea. Company announced regarding the same on its official blog today and the release is expected to go live in other countries in the coming weeks.
This update includes several elements of Ice Cream Sandwich, which have been added on the base created by Gingerbread. So, your smartphone will still be running on Android 2.3 but it will have features like face unlock, new photo editor app, option to take photograph while recording a video as well as many performance improvements.
The update is now available for South Korea users via Kies, and we will let you know as and when it is released in India. Till then, keep checking on your Samsung Kies app.
