Voice blogging service, Bubbly comes to Android

Bubbly, the voice blogging service from Bubble Motion is now available on Android in India. The service allows you to hear voice blogs, or "bubbles" from your friends and family, as well as celebrities and public figures. Bubbly already has 16 million users worldwide and the Bubble Motion team says that it is excited to bring the service to the 11 million Android users in India. Bubbly had previously launched for iOS devices in March of this year. The team says that engagement levels were high with users utilizing the application on an average of three times a day. So what is Bubbly exactly? The service allows you to share short voice updates with your friends and followers. Imagine a wordpress blog, except someone is speaking at you, instead of writing at you. Alternatively, remove the video from a YouTube video blog and you have Bubbly. You can create your posts or bubbles directly from your Android device. Your Bubbly followers will be able to hear what you say, anytime and anywhere. Bubbly says that many Indians have been using the service to play the song game, Antakshari. For those of you who have never played it, Antakshari is a game where you sing a song of which the first word begins with the same letter that the last word of the previous song ends with.

You can share your posts to the social networks, like Facebook and Twitter and even add text to your bubbles if you want to. There is also a voice feed, which tells you whenever anyone you follow has released an update. Furthermore, you will be notified when anyone likes or comments on your posts or starts following one of your friends. Users can follow their prefered celebrities who usually speak with their own voice, allowing for a more "personal" feel than reading a celebrity blog post. Celebs in India who are already posting to Bubbly, include Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Yuvraj Singh and Lara Dutta.
