In a country where dual SIM phones are commonplace, XAGE has looked to up the ante and has announced the launch of its brand new handset, the M288 Zeal. This one comes with a triple SIM support facility which supports both - GSM as well as CDMA styles. The user has the option to manually select the network he needs to use. The M288 comes with a 2.2-inch colour screen and supports MP3 / MP4 playback as well. There’s an inbuilt FM Radio along with the option to schedule and record your FM so you don't miss your favourite programs, Bollywood gossips, news and sports commentaries. The company has also managed to bundle in a 1.3 megapixel camera that comes with an image resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels and zoom functionality. The mobile phone also has a 2000mAh battery that provides a talktime of up to 12 hours, according to the company.

Images, songs and videos can be easily shared with your friends via Bluetooth and the M288 Zeal also comes with an 8GB expandable memory space provided. Connecting with friends gets more convenient with the inbuilt applications. Using WAP/GPRS users can connect with their friends on Yahoo Messenger, Skype, Facebook and other social media. As part of the features, this mobile handset also comes with a motion sensor, LED Torch Light, Multiple language support and Mobile Tracker facilities. The M288 comes in a variety of colour options including Red-Black and Silver-Black.
The phone has been at Rs. 3,915 and is available ex-stock in stores across the country. This is one of the few triple SIM handsets but if you’re in the mood to get more SIMs for your handset, there are a lot of phones out there that have eight SIM card slots! Well, we’re not big fans of dual SIM phones, but it seems that for the general market, the more the number of SIMs the better the phone!
