Sony LT29i Hayabusa may be the international version of Xperia GX

Over the last few weeks there have been a lot of talks, surrounding a smartphone from Sony, which goes by the codename LT29i Hayabusa. The smartphone had also featured in a blurry cam shot, but since the quality of the image was quite bad, nothing much could actually be deciphered from it. Shortly after the blurry cam image surfaced, Sony officially unveiled the Xperia GX, a flagship smartphone that is destined only for Japan. Since then, reports have been surfacing that there could be an international version of the Xperia GX in the works. A recent report by Planet Insane claims that by weighing up what has been revealed thus far about the Sony LT29i Hayabusa and the Xperia GX, they speculate that the former may in fact be the international version of the Xperia GX.
The website states, “The Sony LT29i Hayabusa and the Sony Xperia GX have similar specs as the latter will feature an HD display screen measuring 4.6 inches, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and a notable 13.2MP camera. The Sony device will reportedly use the Android 4.0 operating system and will come with a 1700mAh battery. Due to the similar features on the two devices, some industry watchers have speculated that the Sony LT29i Hayabusa is a version of the Sony Xperia GX that will be released in the international market.” The website goes on to add that from leaked images and videos of the LT29i Hayabusa, industry watchers speculate that this could be the global version of the Xperia GX. They state both handsets feature impressive specifications and will be a good option for those looking to purchase a smartphone.
