iBall launches two new Android phones

iBall Andi 3e is an entry level handset with a 3.2 inch screen and 650 MHz processor while the Andi 4d has a 4 inch screen and 1 GHz processor.

iBall, an Indian IT brand, has launched two new phones under its Andi series of Android phones, which are named as Andi 3e and Andi 4d.

Andi 3E is a dual SIM phone based on Android version 2.3.5 Gingerbread. The phone has a 650 MHz processor and also features bluetooth, WiFi and 3G. The phone comes with 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a VGA front camera and supports 16 GB MicroSD card. The phone also has GPS support.

The iBall Andi 3e comes with, something called 'breathing light' with which the phone can be set to glow in different colours for different functions like incoming call, SMS or music.

The Andi 4d is bigger and more powerful with a 1 GHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera and a 4-inch display. This phone too comes with dual SIM facility, 3G capability and a front-facing camera.

While the Andi 3e is priced at Rs 6,990 the Andi 4d costs Rs 9,490. Both the phones have G-sensor, proximity sensor and a light sensor.

There are many phones in this segment from Samsung, Micromax, Spice and LG and therefore these handsets will have tough time finding buyers' favour. While the feature set of the phones are very reasonable for the given price, there is nothing outstanding to lure buyers. Hence, the quality of the products will be main determining factor for whether one should go for these phones or not. We try to get these phones for review soon, to tell you how they perform in real world and whether you should spend money on these or not.
