Microsoft Cliplets: Easily Create Short Movies

Microsoft Research Cliplet is by far one of the best interactive software I haves seen online. What exactly does the Microsoft Research Cliplets provide? They provide a Cliplet creator.

Cliplets are something that you can consider as being a hybrid of video and picture – animated yet not a still image or in simple words, mini movies. The Microsoft Research Cliplet app allows users to create “Cliplets” using a video clip. If you are a photographer or have interest in it, you will probably know what cinematography is. Cinematography can be considered as “Cliplets”.

Creating a Cliplet is easy with the Microsoft Research Cliplet app. Just fire up the Microsoft Research Cliplet application and load the video that you want to make into a cliplet. You can then use the various tools such as “Loop Layer” and “Mirror Layer” and more to create a variety of cliplets.

Features:

  • Ability to pause and play Cliplets – unlike Cinematography which plays on continuously.
  • Free and easy to use software by Microsoft.
  • Tutorials can be found on main website for those interested in learning.
