Snappy: Easy To Use Screenshot Taking Utility [Windows]

Snappy is yet another program in the world of applications that allows users to take screenshots of their desktop, but unlike thousands of other software that allow such a thing, Snappy allows users to edit the image and make adjustments such as editing the brightness, contrast, RGB settings and more.

Snappy also distinguishes itself from others of its kind by introducing a new feature called the “Event Capture” which allows users to take screenshots the moment a specific event occurs. For example, the software could take a screenshot when a specific mouse button is clicked, or after a specific time and so on.

The software also gives the user the option to capture more than just the whole screen, by giving you the option to capture a screenshot of a “Selected Window”, “Object”, “Selection” and so on.

Using the Snappy software for taking screenshots is as easy as any other software out there made for this task. Just select the types of screenshot you want to take and either manually click the button or use the hotkey to trigger the capture screen function.
Snappy works on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 – I like the fact that they made it compatible with the new Windows 8.

Features:

  • Allows users to edit screenshots.
  • Export screenshot in different formats.
  • Assign hotkeys to different screen capture modes.
