You use your Gmail inbox for all your emails. Sorting these emails and porting the information they contain into separate apps can be quite time-consuming. Streak is a web service that provides amazingly convenient business and personal features within your Gmail inbox so you do not have to change your browser tab.
Streak is a currently free to use web service available for the Google Chrome web browser. The service aims to present you with tools like a CRM that help you operate your business tasks from within your Gmail inbox.
You start using the service by installing its Google Chrome extension from its site. Next you visit Gmail and click on the Streak icon you will find in your Gmail interface. You can select which purpose you are going to use Streak for. Each purpose results in the creation of a ‘pipeline’ – you can create multiple pipelines and for separate uses. Pipelines let you extract information from your emails by, for example, sorting leads and negotiations.
Another very useful feature offered by the service is the ability to schedule sending emails. In Gmail’s composing page you will find a new button labeled Send Later that helps you write emails now but send them at a later date and time.
