VideoGrabber: A Web App To Download Videos Off Streaming Sites

If you are streaming a video online and you would like to transfer it to your portable media player, then you will first need to download the video. Often to download online videos, people install dedicated desktop applications. But you can do without such apps simply by using the online service called “Video Grabber.”

Video Grabber is a free to use web service that lets you download videos from numerous video-streaming websites. The service does not ask you to sign up for any new accounts – you can begin using the app right away. Head on over to its homepage and paste in the URL that you copy off the video’s streaming page. Video Grabber will recognize the available formats that the video can be downloaded in. For YouTube videos, for example, you get the 240p, 320p, and any other qualities that the video is available in. Through the given links you are able to download the videos using your browser’s “Save Target As” option when you right-click on the link.

Video Grabber supports links from an impressively wide range of streaming websites. For a complete list of supported sites, you can check out the dropdown list on the site’s homepage. For video-streaming sites that do not offer videos to download, like Hulu, you can check out Video Grabber’s desktop app called “Video Grabber Pro.”
