The dual SIM phone comes with 5 inch IPS display, 5 megapixel camera, Android 4.0, 1 Ghz processor and a large 2300 mAH battery.
iBall, an Indian mobile and IT peripherals brand, has launched its latest Android handset called the Andi 5C which comes with some very attractive features like a 5 inch IPS panel display but phone is priced at Rs 12,999.
The phone is based on Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich operating system with a 1 Ghz cortex A9 processor. The phone comes with built-in GPS, 3G with up to 7.2 Mbps speeds and a big 2300 mAh battery.
Andi 5C has sensors like G-sensor, proximity sensor and light sensor. The phone is a dual SIM one with support for two GSM SIMs cards. It has also a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with an LED flash.
While the phone comes out as a feature rich and value for money offering, it will have to face tough competition from Micromax A100 which offers similar features but is priced at Rs 9,999 only.
While iBall Andi 5C has slightly bigger 2300 mAh battery compared to 2000 mAH unit of Micromax A100. Though we do not know the exact specs of the IPS panel of the iBall smartphone, but the display of Andi 5C should be better than the Micromax A100 as the two have a price difference of Rs 3,000.
Another close competition comes from Spice Stellar Horizon which comes with a dual core processor and is priced at the same level as iBall Andi 5c. However the biggest advantage for iBall could be the fact that these two phones (Micromax A100 and Spice Stellar Horizon) are not yet available in the mar
ket and but are likely to be in a week or so.
