Ahead of IFA trade fair, Korean manufacturer has announced its Optimus Vu successor in the form of LG Optimus Vu II. The smartphone will be released in the Korean market next month along with LG’s upcoming quad-core smartphone Optimus G.
The Optimus Vu II features infrared sensor, which will be combined with company’s q-remote app, which will allow the smartphone to act as the universal remote for consumer electronics items including set-top boxes, audio systems, air conditioners and more.
LG has not revealed the hardware specifications of the smartphone till now, but looking at the screenshot posted with the news, Optimus Vu II will also have a 5-inch 1024x768p resolution display.
