TreeViz: A Simple Way To Visualize Data Structures

Treeviz is a handy utility that allows users to create and interact with visualized data structures. At the moment, Treeviz remains experimental software. However, if the author gets a good response the project will become software – not just an experiment.

Visualizing large data structures allow users to break down tasks into smaller bits and organize everything perfectly. There are a variety of diagrams to choose from within the software. Some of these include Hyperbolic Tree, Rectangular Treemap, Icicle Tree and more.

Treeviz is based on Java and all the user needs to do is click on the “Launch” button found on the Treeviz website and then click the “Open with” button to launch the app. However, you need to have an XML file in order for you to use this application.
Once you have an XML file, just open it with the Treeviz Java-based software and you can visualize it using the tree structures.

Features:

  • Graphic visualization is always more helpful in understanding stuff.
  • Free and easy to use.
  • Requires XML file.
