Get iPhone 5 in India for Rs 71,995 on Friday

The unlocked Apple iPhone 5 with manufacturer warranty will be shipped free across India for those customers who book the device.

A relatively unknown Bangalore-based online shopping store, Bhaap.com, will sell the latest Apple iPhone 5 in India for Rs 71,000 for just one day on 28 September. The deal, which is perhaps the cheapest in India currently, will commence from 10 AM tomorrow.

A spokesperson of Baap.com said that the unlocked Apple iPhone 5 with manufacturer warranty will be shipped free across India for those customers who book the device. However, information about how users will procure nano SIM was not shared. Currently, service providers are not providing nano SIMs in India.

Apple has unveiled the iPhone 5, the thinnest and lightest among iPhones, last week at an event in San Francisco, USA. It is a completely redesigned gadget from Apples's portfolio with a new 4-inch Retina display, an Apple-designed A6 processor and the latest iOS 6 operation system.

In USA, Apple had made iPhone5 available to consumers at the same price as its predecessor iPhone 4S; the 16, 32 and 64 GB versions of iPhone 5 are available for $199, $299 and $399 respectively.
