Numerous smartphone applications let you place voice calls over the Internet to your friends. However they often make you create new usernames; subsequently you need to look up the usernames of your friends and then add them individually to your app. One app that works differently is KipCall.
KipCall is a free to use iOS application, sized at nearly 2 MB. The app is compatible with iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad devices running version 3.0 or later of iOS. You can use the app to send free messages and have free calls with your Facebook friends who are using the same app. KipCall connects with your Facebook account to see who your friends are. You can choose to block certain friends, if you like, and not be contacted by them through the app. Currently KipCall works for users in a number of countries mentioned on the app’s iTunes page.
