Meta Widget: Turn Websites Into A Handy Widget [Android]

Lots of popular websites have widgets available on Google Play, but there are plenty of good ones that do not. What do you do if you want to use part of one of these websites as a widget? The answer is actually quite simple. All you need to do is boot up Meta Widget on your Android device and create your own widget.

Using the application is incredibly easy. All you need to do is open the Meta Widget application and navigate to the website you would like to turn into a widget. Then you just tap the box at the bottom of the screen and click anywhere on the page. This will create a box that you can move around the screen with the arrows. Choose wisely, because that will become the widget you will see on your screen.

Once you choose the area, tap the “+” sign and then you can customize the text colors and alignment to make it look exactly how you want. Some websites work better than others, so you may have to play around to get it to work just right. Websites that are optimized to work on mobiles will work better. If there is an element of a website you want as a widget, this app is a great choice.

Features:

  • Create a widget from almost any website element.
  • Configure the widget to your needs.
  • Set up your own custom click actions.
  • Updates automatically.

Find Meta Widget on Google Play.
