Sony’s entry-level Xperia Tipo has got its India pricing. This budget Android smartphone was first announced back in June along with Xperia Miro and Xperia Tipo dual.
According to a coming soon listing on Flipkart, the smartphone will be priced at INR 9,499 in the country. There is no word on availability date, but it should not take a long time.
Sony Xperia Tipo features Android 4.0, 3.2-inch display with HVGA resolution, 3.2MP primary camera and 800 MHz processor. It also features FM Radio, 1500 mAh battery, 512MB RAM and 2.5GB of internal storage.
On paper, Sony Xperia Tipo certainly looks like a great budget Android from a known Android manufacturer. We are keeping an eye on the launch date and will let know as soon as something is final.
