October seems to be a month of Google Nexus leaks and rumours. From Nexus smartphones to Nexus tablet, we seem to have a lot of Nexus devices coming in soon. According to Digitimes, which first reported about $99 Nexus 7 variant, is back with more details on the tablet.

According to this rumour king, the $99 version of Nexus will come with Wondermedia Prizm WM8950 instead of the present NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, HUVA TN panel made by Taiwan-based HannStar and the tablet will be made by Quanta Computer.

The publication also claims that the tablet will be released some time in this quarter. We are yet to see any real evidence to support Digitimes’ claims, so will suggest you to take this with a pinch of salt.

$32GB Nexus 7

As we reported before, UK retailer Argos just released its Christmas guide and its lists the 32GB version of Nexus 7 at 199GBP, which is the existing price of 16GB version in UK.

Similarly, Nexus 7 32GB version has also appeared on US retailer Staples has appeared on Stapes business website and keeps the $249 price-tag, same as the 16GB Nexus 7 price in US right now. The tablet was also spotted in Canada on Best Buy website with $269 price-tag.
