Evernote app for Windows Phone gets updated

The new update brings new look for the note list, helpful tips, and a more spacious layout for the Note Editor.

Evernote has updated its application for Windows Phone platform. The new update brings a new look for the Note List section of the Evernote app. Besides, the app has now many helpful tips throughout and a more spacious layout for the Note Editor.

The Note List now has a tiled look that matches the looks of Windows Phone OS user interface better. Each tile contains the note title, date and text from the note. In cases where the note contains an image, a preview of the image will take up the lower two-thirds of the tile. The tile also shows an icon indicating an audio or file attachment.

To inform its users about useful features, Evernote has also added helpful popup messages that point out different functions at right time.

Evernote Note Editor Interface has also been simplified and now it comes with more room to view and edit the content of notes.

Apart from that there are small improvements in the sign-in pages and some performance improvements.
