Google has started sending invites for a press event in New York on October 29. The invite clearly states that this is an Android related event, so it is pretty much certain that we are going to see Nexus devices that day.
The event will also be live-streamed on YouTube, so everyone can watch it.
What do we expect?
Thanks to all the leaked details and rumours, we expect to see at the least the leaked LG Nexus smartphone at the event, if we are really lucky – the Sony Nexus might turn out to be true and can be announced at the same event.
Google is also rumoured to reveal the $99 Nexus 7 tablet and the 32GB version of the existing Nexus 7.
A new version of Android is also likely to be announced along with new Nexus devices, and the rumours suggest that it is going to be Android 4.2. We are yet to see any credible reports talking about the features of Android 4.2, but we hope to see something in the days to come.
