Android 4.0 based MediaPad 7 Lite has a 7 inch (1024 x 600 pixel) IPS display with uni-body design.
Huawei's entry level Android tablet MediaPad 7 Lite will be launched in India in the first week of November. It was unveiled in July this year.
Victor Shan, president of devices, Huawei India, said to The Mobile Indian, "We will launch MediaPad 7 Lite in the first week of November for our Indian consumers at an affordable price of Rs 14,000."
He further said, "In the coming months Huawei will be launching more and more smartphones in the sub Rs 10,000 segment under the Y series of smartphones as we feel there is a lot of demand for affordable smartphones in the country."
Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)-based MediaPad 7 Lite has a 7 inch (1024 x 600 pixel) IPS multi-touch display with uni-body design. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor, and comes with a 3.2 megapixel rear camera, and a 0.3 megapixel front camera for video chatting.
MediaPad 7 Lite has 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 32 GB using micro SD. On the connectivity front it has a SIM slot that supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It has a 4100 mAh battery.
