Is LG Nexus 4 coming to India by Nov-end?

The much-leaked but still unofficial LG Nexus 4 smartphone is reportedly coming to India by the end of next month. Amit Gujral, Head, Mobile Product Planning, LG India seems to revealed the news to multiple publications on the side-lines of today’s Optimus Vu launch event.

This Nexus smartphone is expected to be officially announced on October 29 at a press event in New York.

Leaks suggest that LG Nexus 4 will come with 4.7-inch 1280x768p display, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, Android 4.2 and 8/16GB of internal storage.

We would suggest you not to become too hopeful by the news, as the past track record of Nexus launches in India is pretty sad. We have only seen one Nexus smartphone till now – Nexus S; Galaxy Nexus and Nexus One have given India a slip, so we are taking this with a pinch of salt, and so should you.

LG India has also revealed that Optimus G will be released in the country early next year.

In other Nexus launch news, Asus has already promised to launch Nexus 7 in the country and we are expecting it to arrive by the end of this month or early next month. Some sources suggest that India might be one of the first countries to the rumoured 3G Nexus 7.
