LG built Nexus 4 is official, but everyone wants to know when it is coming to their country. Well, Google has already revealed that US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Australia will first to receive this flagship smartphone on November 13 via Google Play.
Rest of the world should not worry, according to an LG issued press release; the offline availability of Nexus 4 will start in the end of November. Company added that countries in Europe, Central/South Americas, Asia, CIS and the Middle East will get the smartphone starting the end of November.
We guess the prominent markets will be first to get this offline availability of Nexus 4. As India is a prominent market and even an LG executive has already confirmed that Nexus 4 will land in India by end of November; we are hoping to see Nexus 4 reaching India by the end of next month.
There is no word on the pricing, but considering LG and Google have gone so aggressive in US with unlocked 8GB unit at just $299, we are expecting Nexus 4 to sell around INR 20K in India.
Here is the complete statement from LG:
Nexus 4 is sold unlocked and is GSM/HSPA+ compatible so it will operate on more than 200 network providers worldwide. Just pop in a supported SIM card and be up and running in no time. It will be available to purchase in both an 8GB version and a 16GB version on Google Play starting November 13 in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Australia. Offline availability in Europe, Central/South Americas, Asia, CIS and the Middle East will begin from the end of November.
