Nokia starts pushing Belle Feature Pack 2 update


Nokia 808 PureView gets new imaging features, while Nokia 603, Nokia 700 and Nokia 701 get the Feature Pack 2.

Nokia has finally started pushing out the much awaited Belle Feature Pack 2 (FP2) for its Symbian^3 platform based smartphones. The new Nokia Belle FP2 update was pushed over the air for four smartphones - Nokia 808 PureView, Nokia 701, Nokia 700 and Nokia 603.

The Nokia 808 PureView is currently the top camera smartphone available and the Belle Feature Pack 2 adds more to it by bringing the Grid View for the gallery when accessed in landscape mode. The Gallery app will allow selection and deletion of multiple images at the same time.

The Creative Modes will have new Reset button to restore the settings of the respective creative mode to default. The images captured will offer more details about the file size, image resolution and other meta data related to the photo.

New Nokia 808 PureView devices users will get the Video Pro 2 mobile app for video editing while the early adopters of Nokia 808 PureView devices will have to wait for it.

Some common update for Nokia 808 PureView, 701, 700 and 603 includes Nokia Car Mode for easy access of basic features. New keyboard and new mobile browser with enhanced HTML5 support.

Nokia has currently frozen roll out of updates due to technical difficulties and will commence the process soon. If you've received the notification about the update over the air, download and install it.
